Busy Busy

Well that was a packed weekend, Weddings at Cockliffe House Hotel and Holme Pierrepont Hall, a few days rest then back to “The Approach’ on wednesday night. See you there

Great weekend

Last weekend saw myself and the band playing at “The Approach” Was a fantastic night and awesome crowd. On the Saturday I played the Victoria Festival along with Myles on 2nd guitar and I was taken aback by how superb the audience were. It was only 2 in the afternoon and it felt like a Saturday night. Loved it. Then it was onwards and upwards to the “Great Hall” at Nottingham university for Amanda and Robin’s wedding. Whole crowd jumping around by the end……….Sunday was a day of rest. Fantastic weekend . Thanks to all who were at the gigs. Richie :)

Sat Night

Playing Thrumpton Hall tonight with Bob and Andy freshly inspired by glastonbury performances, Mumford were superb and Edge still a hero.

Recording and Weddings

A day in the studio tomorrow with Miles on 2nd acoustic guitar.  The Richie Muir Duo is going from strength to strength and the booking are coming in. More dates soon at Harts and other places this year and next year.

We will be performing at the Victoria Hotel, Beeston on July the 16 at 2pm to open the Vicfest then performing with the full band on July 31st to close the Vicfest along with Weddings at Thrumpton Hall, Prestwold Hall, Risley Hall and Harts Restaurant in the next 2 weeks so a busy time. And as always every Wednesday at “The Approach”(with different special guests most weeks)

See you all soon

Richie :)

Rehersals

Rehearsals done today. Ready for the Harts Restaurants gig on Sunday night with Miles on lead guitar from 7.30 and Myself and the Band and ready for a summer of wedded bliss entertainment…….

Weekend Over ….

Great gig on Saturday night at a party in Bunny, Notts. Was in an open sided barn and thank fully the weather stayed fine. A very rustic night and much fun with my trumpet playing friend, Pete. Got few more tunes to get onto this week. “more than words” by Extreme for a first dance coming up and “Breakfast at Tiffanys” a classic one to keep the party going.
Have a great monday .

Great night a the Approach last night. The students turned up and created an awesome atmosphere. For a limited time you can download for free my EP. 6 tracks on it.4 studio and 2 live tracks.

Hope you like it

The Joe Strange Band popped in to say hello so Joe, Dane and Jeremy and Kebab (before he threw in the towel) and I ended up painting the town red by moving onto Tantra after The Approach closed for the eve.Much fun and all the worlds wrongs were put right.

An Evening at Harts Restaurant with Richie Muir

Wednesday Nights At The Approach

Getting ready for my gig at The Approach, I play there every Wednesday and has become a Student favourite haunt on their travels through Notts.

Tonight is the last night I think they will be around till next term so maybe a bit crazy tonight but the calm will come as of next week where you can get a drink and relax and I’ll play you some more chilled songs that you may not here during the term time. See you there one and all.

Richie :)
